Overall, the season was excellent, though it suffered from a very slow pace in its main storylines, which made some episodes feel like they passed without significant plot progression. Nevertheless, the ending was absolutely stunning and worth the wait, especially the final two episodes, which delivered a high dose of excitement and surprises. The last episode, in particular, was top-tier, and I’d describe it as a “must-see” in a unique way—you’ll understand what I mean when you watch it.
For me, the first season remains the best, as it was tightly structured in terms of story and pacing, with every episode engaging the viewer from start to finish without a dull moment. The third season, however, is closer to the second in its slower pace and focus on minor details that weren’t always necessary. Still, it made up for this with a strong ending that elevated the overall suspense and excitement.

One of the main issues with this season is that the focus on the central plotlines wasn’t consistent, with the real escalation only occurring in the final episodes. As viewers, we had been waiting since season two for the story to take a more serious and progressive turn, but the show continued to develop events very gradually, which may have caused some viewers to lose interest during certain parts.
I understand that the story requires gradual development, especially since the series heavily follows the comics’ narrative. For example, the season’s ending covers events from Issue 65 of the comics, while the full story spans 144 issues—so there’s still a long journey ahead. Nevertheless, the overly slow pacing in certain parts may impact the viewing experience, particularly for those who haven’t read the comics beforehand.

On an emotional level, the season made a strong impact by building the relationships of the main characters, most notably Mark and his brother Oliver, as well as Mark’s evolving relationship with Samantha (Atom Eve). These elements added a compelling, dramatic dimension to the story and deepened viewers’ investment in the characters and their fates.

The final two episodes were undoubtedly the season’s highlights, restoring the show’s signature excitement both narratively and through well-executed action sequences and unexpected twists. These episodes demonstrated that the series is still capable of delivering powerful, memorable moments that leave a lasting impression and reignite enthusiasm for future seasons.
Overall, despite some storytelling flaws and occasional pacing issues, the season succeeds in delivering an enjoyable experience thanks to strong character development and a rewarding ending that compensates for earlier slow parts. Considering all these factors, a fair rating for this season is 8/10, and I look forward to what the series has in store in the future.
