The film is considered a new addition to the DC cinematic universe, centering on the hero Barry Allen (The Flash) as he attempts to travel through time to save his mother from death. This attempt causes major disruptions in the timeline, resulting in unexpected consequences and complex temporal entanglements. The film blends action, emotion, and comedy, though it does have some flaws that affect the overall viewing experience.
The main storyline focuses on The Flash and his attempt to alter the past to save his mother. This intriguing premise provides an opportunity to explore parallel worlds and the effects of time travel. However, some parts of the writing were weak, affecting the story’s flow and making certain scenes feel disconnected or unconvincing. Despite this, Barry Allen’s emotional journey and his relationship with his mother were strong points, adding emotional depth that allowed viewers to empathize with the character.

Ezra Miller was the standout star of the film, delivering an impressive performance as Barry Allen (The Flash). Miller portrayed two different versions of the character from parallel worlds, skillfully highlighting the subtle differences between them. His emotional performance was impactful, and the comedic elements inherent to The Flash were effectively showcased.
On the other hand, Michael Keaton as Batman fell short in some scenes, appearing less engaged, although his action sequences were impressive. Sasha Calle excelled as Supergirl, bringing a strong and compelling presence to her version of the character from the parallel world.

The direction was generally solid, especially in the action sequences, which were thrilling and fast-paced, adding enjoyment to the film. However, some directorial choices were unclear, particularly in handling the parallel worlds and the time-travel effects.
The film included some cameo appearances and surprises, which were enjoyable but didn’t significantly impact the overall story. Many of these Easter eggs were aimed at DC fans, though they added little to the plot’s progression.

The visual effects were inconsistent, with some scenes being visually stunning while others appeared incomplete or unrealistic. This inconsistency affected the overall viewing experience.
The film is entertaining and provides a strong emotional story for Barry Allen, supported by Ezra Miller’s excellent performance. However, weak writing in parts and uneven performances from other characters affected the overall quality. The film is worth watching for fans of the DC universe, but it is not the best.
